EPHRAIM REGATTA THIS WEEKEND! – 2008

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

Don’t forget the 103rd annual Ephraim Regatta is this weekend,
August 1-2-3. This year’s Regatta promises to include great Flying Scot
Racing, spectating, and parties which we have all come to expect. Even
if you are not racing or volunteering, come on down to the EYC on
Saturday or Sunday to watch the races (grab a folding chair), and don’t
forget to attend the Friday night Regatta Welcome Party and the
Saturday night Bratfest. You don’t have to be a competitor or even an
EYC member to attend the parties, so bring your friends!

FRIDAY August 1

2:30 – 7pm Registration at EYC

6:00pm Regatta Welcome Party at Jay Lott’s house, 9910 Mueller Lane.
Directions from Ephraim: Hwy. Q east 3 1/2 miles to Mueller Lane, turn
right on Mueller Lane.

SATURDAY August 2

8 – 9am Registration at EYC

9:30am Competitors Meeting at EYC

10:30am Warning signal for first race

6:00pm Brat Fest at Bill and Rosie Klein’s house, 3282 Gibraltar Road.
Directions from Ephraim: Hwy 42 south to intersection with Highway A,
left on A, left on Gibraltar, watch for the balloons.

10:00am Warning signal for first race; trophy presentation to follow as soon as possible after last race

SCHEDULE CHANGE – JUNIOR ACTIVITY BACK ON THIS WEEK! – 2008

Monday, July 28th, 2008

BARN PARTY this Wed.

There is a change in the weekly activities. As originally planned, we WILL have a Junior Activity THIS WEDNESDAY, JULY 30th.

The Barn Party @ the Pillats is on! Come join us for music, dancing, volleyball, & fun.

Meet at the EYC at 5:45pm and pick up is back at the EYC at 8:00pm.

(Dinner not included).

note: all are welcome after the completion of first grade.

Can’t wait to see you there! Sorry for the confusion!

9:00am and 1:30pm – Start Lesson Session D!

5:30pm – FS Races

7:00pm – Ladies Bunco – All are welcome to enjoy the game of Bunco. Great camaraderie, bring your favorite beverage. At the EYC $10. Questions contact Nancy Konecny at 920-621-2982.

Tues July 29:

5:30pm – Opti Races

7:30pm – Teen Night @ the Drive-in theatre. Bring $7 to the EYC and we can drive over together to watch the Dark Night and Get Smart. Bring blankets! Or meet us over there at 8:00pm.

Wed July 30:

1:00pm Ladies Regatta – Come down and sign up if you want to crew, skipper, or spectators join us and bring an appetizer to share!

!!!NO JUNIOR ACTIVITY THIS WEEK. BARN PARTY RESCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!

Thurs July 31:

5:00pm – Evening Sail to Fred and Fuzzy’s. $30 including dinner. Enjoy a sunset dinner on the waterfront after an enjoyable sail. A learning experience!

Fri August 1: EPHRAIM REGATTA

1:30pm Warm-up Race

2:30-7:00pm Registration for the 103rd Ephraim Regatta at the EYC visit http://www.EYC.org for a registration form, updates, and information about lodging.

6:00pm rain or shine Regatta Welcome Party Jay Lott’s House – 9910 Moeller Lane, Bailey’s Harbor. Games, Beer, Dinner, Margaritas, Music, Hot Tub. $10 Adults, $5 kids (under 12), all are welcome, all proceeds donated to the EYC.
