All EYC members are invited to holiday ice skating at the Theresa K. Hilander ice rink (located in the Sister Bay Sports Complex on Woodland Ave., off Hwy. ZZ) on Tuesday, December 28 from noon to 3 PM. Rental skates are available. After skating, those interested can head to JJ’s for post-skating libations and more holiday cheer. In the event of inadequate skating conditions, the substitute activity will be a hike on Eagle Trail in Peninsula State Park, followed by an optional visit to the AC Tap for beanbags and still more holiday cheer. All EYC Juniors and teens are invited to a holiday dip in the pool at the Northern Door YMCA in Fish Creek, on Wednesday December 29 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. Cost is $5 per junior/teen. Bring a bathing suit and towel, and a snack or drinks to share. Parents please note: the YMCA strictly enforces its policy that any child under age 8 must be accompanied at all times in the pool and pool area by a parent, so if you bring a child under age 8, wear your bathing suit too!
