EYC Scholarship Fund Benefit Dinner and Auction March 2

Thursday, January 17th, 2013

All Ephraim Yacht Club members are invited and encouraged to attend the Aaron R. Moore Sailing Scholarship benefit dinner on the evening of Saturday, March 2 at the Lake Forest Club.

This gala event is a great opportunity to catch up with EYC friends and make plans for next summer.  The Lake Forest Club is a wonderful venue, is conveniently located for EYC members living in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas, and the food will be excellent.  There will also be a silent auction with lots of tasteful and tasty items.

Tickets are $100 per person.  Advance reservations are required.  RSVP and pay online at

This is the EYC’s first-ever fundraiser during the off-season, first-ever fundraiser designated for scholarships, and first-ever fundraiser not in Door County.  Please support the EYC by attending!  No paper invitations will be sent.

All proceeds from the event go to the EYC’s Aaron R. Moore Sailing Scholarship Fund.  Aaron Moore passed away in 2008 and was a lifelong sailor and an enthusiastic sailing instructor.  The Fund was established in 2012 by the Moore family.  The Fund pays for sailing lesson scholarships for junior sailors who are year-round residents of Door County and who otherwise would not be able to afford sailing lessons or EYC junior membership.

Even if you are not able to attend this event, please consider supporting the Aaron R. Moore Sailing Scholarship Fund, or the EYC in general, by donating at  The EYC is qualified as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, so your donation is tax-deductible.
