Junior Activities – Teen Activities – Movie Night

The EYC has a busy 4th of July week of activities and social events for juniors, teens and adults:

JUNIOR ACTIVITY:  On the evening of Wednesday July 7, EYC juniors can attend “Life on the Mississippi” at the American Folklore Theater.  Juniors wishing to attend must sign up no later than Tuesday July 6 at the EYC, so that the correct number of tickets can be purchased.  If you cannot sign up in person, call the EYC and ask a staff member to sign you up.  Meet at the EYC at 5:00 PM.  The show begins at 6:00 PM.  Parents, please pick up your juniors at the EYC at 8:00 PM.  Admission price will depend on age and what discount can be obtained, so each junior should bring at least $8, which is the maximum possible ticket price up to age 19.

TEEN ACTIVITY:  EYC Teens are invited for an afternoon of tubing behind motorboats at the Mazeskis’ home on Europe Lake on Thursday, July 8.  Meet at the EYC, leaving at 3:30 PM sharp.  Bring a swimsuit, towel, PFD, and sunscreen.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.  Pick up will be at the EYC at 6 PM.  There is no cost for this event.  If you have questions or need directions to Europe Lake in order to drive separately, contact teen activities chair Liz Gheorghita lgheorghita@hotmail.com.  Please sign up at the EYC by Wednesday afternoon; if you cannot sign up in person, call the EYC and ask a staff member to sign you up.  Teen activities are open to those who have completed seventh grade.

FOUNDERS DAY PICNIC MOVED TO FRIDAY JULY 9.  The Founders Day Picnic, originally scheduled for the evening of Thursday July 8, has been moved to the evening of Friday July 9.  Stay tuned for more details.

July 1 Teen Activity: Pontoon Ride to Nicolet Bay

EYC Teens are invited on a pontoon boat trip to Nicolet Bay on Thursday, July 1, from 4 PM until 6 PM. Meet at the Ephraim Firehouse Marina at 4 PM. We will ride over to Nicolet Bay, anchor and swim. Bring a bottle of soda or water, a bag of snacks to share, sunscreen and a towel. Pick up will be back at the Firehouse Marina at 6 PM. Participants should sign up on the sheet on the EYC bulletin board by 4 PM on Wednesday June 30. Or, phone the EYC and ask the EYC staff to put your name on the sign-in sheet.

EYC Teen Activities are open to all who have completed seventh grade.

Junior Bunco and World Cup Brackets

EYC juniors are invited to play Bunco at the EYC on Wednesday, June 30, from 6 PM until 8 PM.

Bunco is a simple dice game that is easy to learn. There is no cost or entry fee for Junior Bunco. Prizes include gift certificates from favorite local businesses. Grand Prize is a half hour trip for the winner and three friends in Captain Ben’s boat in Eagle Harbor. (PFDs must be worn.)

As an added bonus, we will have a World Cup soccer pool. Anyone who wants to play should bring $1.00 and their soccer prognostication skills. One entry per person.

Junior activities are open to all who have completed First Grade.
