The Ephraim Yacht Club (EYC) is located in Door County, Wisconsin. The primary purposes of the EYC are sailing education and the promotion of amateur sailboat racing. The EYC is located on Eagle Harbor in the beautiful and Village of Ephraim. The EYC is a public charity qualified under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Membership is open to all. Family, Senior, Single and Student memberships are available. EYC members include year-round and summer residents as well as many shorter-term visitors to Door County.
The EYC is open from Memorial Day through late September, but most of the EYC’s organized events are concentrated in the high summer season from mid-June through mid-August.
A staff of US Sailing-certified instructors teaches junior group lessons from mid June through mid August. Private lessons are also available for EYC members. The EYC owns fleets of Flying Scots, 420s, Lasers, and Optis, as well as kayaks, all for use by members. Dry Slips are available for members who own sailboats and wish to keep them on the dock. Additionally, the EYC runs several weekly races: Flying Scots, Lasers, 420s, and Optis.
The EYC hosts a variety of regattas through the summer: Fyr Bal Regatta, Family Regatta, Opti Regatta, Rich Hall Regatta, and the Women’s Regatta. Each August, since 1906, the EYC hosts The Ephraim Regatta, which is one of the largest Flying Scot regattas in the United States and the oldest on the Great Lakes.
In addition to sailing instruction and racing, the EYC hosts a calendar of social events, such as a Fyr Bal Family Cookout, an Opening Social, a 4th of July Ice Cream Social, a Regatta Bratfest and a Commodore’s Party. Bunco and Bridge players gather several times weekly in the clubhouse. The EYC’s dock and raft are popular summer swimming spots. Members enjoy the use of club kayaks while paddling the shore of Eagle Harbor. Impromptu family barbecues and cocktail parties occur often while watching Junior sailors race each evening. EYC youth participate in organized, supervised Wednesday evening activities such as kickball, water games, capture the flag, photo scavenger hunt, and mini golf. Members enjoy free wi-fi in the clubhouse. EYC Family, Single, and Senior members have the additional benefit of reciprocity at many yacht clubs throughout the country.

The EYC relies on continual membership dues to maintain the clubhouse, dock, and services.
