Summer Solstice and Sunsets

EYC Fyr Bal Festivities- Saturday, June 15th

The EYC will join the rest of Ephraim to celebrate upcoming summer solstice.  We kick it off the day with our much anticipated

Fyr Bal Pancake Breakfast-8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

The EYC hosts the annual pancake breakfast in the Village Hall. Start off the day with Pancakes and Marchant sausages.  Tickets:   Adults $15 and  12 and under $7. It’s a fun morning with the best crew on the peninsula!  Help us raise money for our youth scholarship fund! We will have an EYC pop-up shop selling  merchandise. 

Fyr Bal Regatta/EYC Weekly Series — 9:00 a.m. Skippers Meeting, 10:00 a.m. Start

The weather is looking great for a Saturday morning sail.  We have two options for racing, the Fyr Bal Regatta is open to all Flying Scot racers and our regular Saturday morning series races.  Up to three races will be sailed.  Trophies for 1st – 3rd are awarded at the conclusion of the races.  The EYC Series is open to all club members and a boat draw will be held for the use of club boats.  Please click this link for the NOR and SI

Flying Scot Fleet 44 Meeting

The Flying Scot Fleet 44 meeting will commence immediately after the races on Saturday.  Calling all Flying Scot owners, Sailors, Racers and interested members. Come down to learn what’s new with Flying Scot sailing, plans for the summer, opportunities for racing and fun sailing this summer.  We’d love to see you and hear from you.  If you are unable to attend, but have suggestions or requests, contact Flying Scot Fleet Captain Nancy Claypool at [email protected]

New Members Happy Hour/Fyr Bal Family cookout– 5:00 p.m./6:00 p.m.

Saturday night at 5:00 p.m., the EYC will welcome all New Members  of the club for Happy Hour on the dock. Please note that this event was previously scheduled for Friday night. Meet other new members and then stay for the Fyr Ball Family Cookout. The Fyr Bal family cookout will start at 6:00 p.m. The EYC will provide burgers and brats, please provide a side dish to share with many.  We could use a few extra hands for the cookout use this LINK to sign-up (i still. need this link).

Donuts and Coffee with the Board-Friday, June 21st

All members are invited to sit down with the Board at the clubhouse at 9:00 a.m.  Meet your meet your board, ask some questions, and  learn about the clubs current needs and activities.

EYC Men’s “Night”-Monday, July 1st

Land Ho! Fore!  Men’s night on the dock has pivoted. Look forward the first annual EYC afternoon golf outing at Peninsula Golf Course on July 1st. There will be three foursomes for a scramble. Tee times are reserved for 1:00, 1:10, 1:20. Prizes awarded and drinks at the golf course bar immediately following. Availability is on a first come, first served basis.
