Volunteer creates new “Senior” swim ladder

The EYC’s new “Senior” swim ladder is beautiful!

A nice easy slope, steps beginning well below water level, wide treads, and full-length handholds mean that EYC members of all ages will be able to get in and out of the water much more easily this summer. The ladder is robustly constructed and easy to install and remove each season, so we look forward to many years of service from it.

When you see EYC Dock Chair Rich Bierman, please thank him for the many dozens of volunteer hours he spent designing, sourcing, transporting and installing this ladder, for the benefit of all EYC members. Be sure to thank Karen Bierman too.
