It’s the biggest week of the summer at the EYC, with the Hundred-Miler, the Women’s Regatta, the Ephraim Regatta, the Regatta Welcome Party and perhaps most importantly, the Bratfest. Plus, the usual group lessons, private lessons, Ffying Scot races, Flying Junior races, Laser races, Optimist races, yoga, Junior activities, Teen activities, open bridge, couples bridge, bridge lessons, bunco, grilling, picnics, beverages and swimming. You name it, it’s probably happening at the EYC this week:
EYC members can CHEER ON THE EYC’S ENTRY IN THE HUNDRED MILER RACE on Saturday, July 28, as the offshore racing boats round Horseshoe Island. John and Deanna Peterson’s Charette, with an all-EYC crew, should round Horseshoe ahead of the rest of the fleet sometime between 11 AM and 4 PM, depending on wind strength and direction. The best places to watch are from a boat in Horseshoe Island’s harbor, or from the tower in Peninsula State Park. Monitor the EYC’s Facebook page or Twitter feed for an update on Saturday morning as to the expected Horseshoe rounding time.

He has been moved out of ICU to the rehab center. It will be a long road back but the outlook is optimistic. Please, still no visitors at this time — it is too tiring for Bill. All of the Hoags greatly appreciate the well-wishes and caring thoughts everyone has extended to them. Cards / well-wishes maybe sent to: St. Vincent’s Hospital, Patient Bill Hoag, 835 South Van Buren Street, Green Bay, WI 54301”
